Exterior Renovations in Houston, TX

Siding, trim, doors, windows and full facade updates — the work that changes how the house reads from the street.

Exterior work has two jobs: keep water out and make the house look like someone cares about it. Those are usually the same project. Failed caulk lines, rotten fascia, siding that has cupped away from the sheathing and a front door that no longer seals are all water problems first and curb-appeal problems second.

We replace and repair siding, rebuild trim, fascia and soffit, replace exterior doors, rebuild front porches and steps, and repaint whole exteriors with the prep that makes the paint last. On a facade update we will also work through the details that change a plain elevation — column wraps, a new entry, board-and-batten sections, updated lighting and a properly proportioned porch roof.

What the job includes

  • Siding repair and replacement, including fiber cement and wood
  • Fascia, soffit, freeze board and exterior trim replacement
  • Wood rot repair around windows, doors and eaves
  • Exterior door and window replacement in existing openings
  • Front porch, column and step rebuilds
  • Full exterior repaint with washing, scraping, caulking and priming

Step by step

Our Exterior Renovation Process

No surprises, and nothing that matters left until it is too late to change.
  1. 01

    Walk the exterior

All four elevations, close up. We find the soft wood, the failed caulk joints and the places water is getting behind the cladding, and we photograph what we find.

  2. 02

    Scope and quote

Repairs and cosmetic upgrades priced separately so you can see what is necessary and what is a choice.

  3. 03

    Repair and replace

Rotten material cut out back to sound wood, siding and trim replaced, flashing and caulking corrected so the new work stays dry.

  4. 04

    Prep and finish

Wash, scrape, caulk, prime and paint — with the cut lines kept sharp at the brick, the trim and the roofline.

Why it matters

Why homeowners choose us for exteriors

  • Curb appeal that pays back

Siding, trim, paint and a new entry are among the highest-return improvements you can make to a house you plan to sell.

  • Water stopped at the envelope

Every dollar spent keeping water out of the wall is a dollar you do not spend on drywall, framing and flooring later.

  • Matched to the neighborhood

A facade update should look like it belongs on the street. We work with the house you have rather than against it.

Across the Houston area

Exterior Renovations in your part of town

Houston's sun and storm cycle is hard on exteriors, and the older housing stock in Baytown, Pasadena and Deer Park often has original wood trim that has been repainted rather than replaced for decades. In Bellaire, Memorial and West University Place, exterior renovation is more often about updating a dated 1960s elevation on a house that is otherwise in good order.
